Geographical presentation:
Campulung Moldovenesc city is located northwest of Suceava County, stretching from one side of the river Moldova, on a length of 12 km. It is bordered on the north by Obcina Feredeului and Obcina Mestecănişului, east of Vama, south to Giumalău and Rarău mountains and west with Sadova and Pojorâta.

Climate: Average annual temperature is 6.80 C, among the lowest in Moldova. Monthly averages the low recorded in January (minus 3.50 C) and highest in July (16.40 C). Regarding rainfall, the average recorded over 130 rainy days per year, totaling an amount of about 700 mm. With increasing altitude, increase precipitations: 850 mm Obcini peaks and station Rarău about 1000 mm.
