Vatra Dornei - Presentation

Vatra Dornei-city is situated in the heart of the Eastern Carpathians at an altitude of 800 meters, at equal distance from both their sides (east and west), the depression corridor that separates the north of the central group of them. Vatra Dornei is surrounded by a number of small and medium mountains, crystalline structure, with part of muncele, composed of rounded ridges that descend in steps.

Size and population:- Area of 14,434 hectares and 17,117 inhabitants

Climate - Vatra Dornei is characterized by annual temperatures of 5 degrees C (average of July is 15 degrees C and in January of -6 degrees C). Average annual precipitation of 600 mm passes and the number of days with snow is over 120, which is very important for winter sports.

Education and Culture:
